The lists below detail the awards for the 2023-2024 year. Awards may change in future years.

Individual Awards Description

Active Sister/Member of the Year

Awarded to an Active Member who demonstrates dedication to their Chapter, the National Organization, living the Oath, stepping up to fill an officer position, etc.

Alumnae Sister/Member of the Year

Awarded to an Alum Member who demonstrates their dedication to their Chapter, the National Organization, living the Oath, stepping up to fill an officer position, etc.

New Member of the Year

Awarded to a Member who has recently been initiated (past academic year) and has demonstrated dedication to their Chapter, the National Organization, living the Oath, stepping up to fill an officer position, etc.

Senior of the Year

Awarded to a Member who has graduated or become an Alum in the last year and has continued to be an active and outstanding Member of our Organization. They may have taken a strong leadership role in improving the quality of their Chapter, immediately stepped into an Alum officer role, helped to develop some new programs for the Chapter, etc.

Petitioning Member of the Year

Awarded to a Petitioning Chapter Member that has demonstrated their dedication to the Petitioning Chapter, helping expand on campus, living the Oath, stepping in to fill an officer position, etc.

Outstanding Leader of the Year

A Member must maintain their GPA to be eligible. An outstanding leader includes a Member who has gone above and beyond as a leader within their chapter.

Examples include a Member who stepped up or was elected to an officer position, worked to support and develop other leaders in the Chapter (shadowing, officer transitions, etc.), or is involved in other organizations as a leader.

Professional Excellence Award

Awarded to a Professional Alum who demonstrates excellence within their field or career. Examples include promotion, completing a big project, celebrating a significant anniversary at a company, receiving an award for their work in an industry, etc.

Infinity Education Award

Awarded to an Alum Member working towards additional academic pursuits past their undergraduate degree. Examples include earning a master’s degree, earning a PhD, participating in a significant research project, presenting at a conference, etc.

New Member Academic Award

Awarded to the Chapter with the highest New Member (Fall & Spring) GPAs

Highest GPA

Awarded to the Chapter with the highest overall GPA

Most Improved GPA

Awarded to the Chapter with the highest value change between the fall and spring semesters

Excellence in Philanthropic Project

Awarded to the Chapter that shows excellence in a local philanthropy project. This may include a large number of volunteers or hours.

Excellence in Service

Awarded to the Chapter that participates in a local philanthropy project with a high number of volunteers or hours.

Excellence in Supporting Donors Choose

Awarded to the Chapter that demonstrates excellence for a DonorsChoose philanthropy cause or event. This could include a large number of volunteers, hours worked, or money raised.

Best in Pride

Awarded to the Chapter with the highest number of new fall and spring initiates.

Best in Pride

Awarded to the Chapter that increases their overall numbers by the largest percentage from fall to spring.
